Associated with the District Indigenous People's Collective in Chamarajanagar since 1993. Worked at different level from village to state levels. Mainly worked on Implementation of Forest rights Act which enables Solega community (my people) to experience their own culture, land, community, education and livelihood rights. For the past 9 years, I am the President of this collective. In addition, I worked as a member of the district tribal implementation committee which implements tribal schemes and programs in the Chamarajanagar district. I am currently serving as a member of the district tribal COVID-19 safeguard committee.

Since 2014, as a researcher, I have worked in a participatory action research focusing on maternal and child health and then a case study focusing on community health workers working with my people in the district.
