Dr. Tanya Seshadri

I am a medical doctor specialised in Community Medicine. I am a community practitioner and researcher with interests in participatory research approaches and tribal health, and work with tribal communities in southern Karnataka in south India. I am Adjunct Faculty at the Institute of Public Health Bengaluru and collaborate on research on health inequities among tribal people and urban health and wellness centres. I was part of the Monkey Fever Risk project and since then have been working on the social aspect of Kyasanur Forest Disease using the One Health approach.
